Minnesota's Premiere Cocktail Bar & Distillery

We set out in 2014 to create a small selection of spirits that focused on quality instead of quantity. At Skaalvenn we currently make Vodka, Yuzu Gin, Rum, Aquavit, Habanero Rum, and we bottle a sourced Bourbon. At this time we are only available in Minnesota.

In 2020 we opened our adjoining cocktail bar which is the opposite of most bars in America. Our premise is that you can get a good drink almost anywhere these days, but you can only get a damned good drink and some of the world's best hospitality Only At Skaalvenn Distillery & Cocktail Bar.

Oh my, that's a lot of decorations...

Christmas Bar @ Skaalvenn

We're going all in on Christmas!

Starting December 4th and running until January 10th we are transforming into a Holiday bar.

Our initial hours will be Thursday - Saturday, but we're preparing to open on Wednesday and Sunday as well.

How many decorations are we putting up?

We didn't buy a cart load.
We didn't buy a trunk load.
We didn't buy a car load.
We had to get a delivery truck and unload it with a forklift!

It took us 4 days to put up a total of 20,000 LED lights and we lost count of the ornaments after we hung about 200 of them. We have christmas trees, inflatables, shimmering lights. It's most definitely one of the most over the top Christmas Bars in Minnesota!

Space is becoming extremely limited where we're oftentimes having to turn people away who don't have a reservation simply because we don't have any more room.
